Windows Sucks

  1. PC’s don’t read USB natively. It has to be done by a driver in Windows. That means that if you use a USB keyboard, you can’t press F2 or other special keys during startup when you have a problem.
  2. Error messages are often misleading. “Login incorrect” may mean your network is not connected. “No valid files” may mean you don’t have login privileges.
  3. The registry is a massive central place for all programs and the OS to store preferences. If one application corrupts it, you may have to reformat and start fresh with all applications.
  4. If you need a "wizard" to help you do something, that is a sure sign the interface is not intuitive.
  5. Viruses and spyware and other hacks.
